I am delighted to announce a new Reiki share that I am now offering to complement the one that I have been offering to my students for the last 5 years or so. This Reiki share is open to all.
The reason for this is that the shares for my students are getting really busy, as a result I have not been able to satisfy the requests I have been receiving through my website from people who would like to attend my Reiki shares. So I have finally decided to hold a Reiki share once every month that is open to all – people who have learnt Reiki from any Reiki Master, not just from me and also those who have not learnt Reiki but are interested in finding out more about it.
Date: Wednesday May 4th, 2011
Time: 7 pm – 9 pm
Venue: North London Buddhist Centre, 72, Holloway Road, London N7 8JG.
Cost: £10
(for future dates, please check website http://www.reikiwithmamta.com/Shares.htm)
I am offering this Reiki share because I feel very strongly that having continued support after the Reiki class is very important. I found the Reiki shares that my master offered invaluable on my Reiki journey and so I would like to offer this support to all Reiki students. Some of you may not be in touch with your own Reiki Master any more, or you may have moved away from the place where you learnt Reiki, or you may be looking to practise Reiki with other like minded people in a supportive environment. I would like to offer this and more through these Reiki shares.
My intent is to offer support for Reiki students to help deepen Reiki practice and enhance the benefits that Reiki can help us with. I would like to offer you the benefits of my experience of Reiki gained over the years. I learnt Reiki in 2001. I started with myself – I gave myself a Reiki treatment everyday, well nearly 🙂 Gradually as I started to feel the benefits myself and for my family, I started offering Reiki treatments to others, especially to other mothers as I felt that I had benefitted hugely as a mother from having Reiki in my life. I started training as a Reiki Master with Tripuri Dunne in 2005. I completed my Mastery training with her in February 2008.
I have been working as a public Reiki practitioner since 2004, and as a Reiki Master since February 2008. I have been representing the Reiki Association in the voluntary Reiki Regulation process since 2004. So I am also happy to support you if you are thinking of setting up public Reiki practice.
If you know others who may be interested in coming to my Reiki shares, please do forward this email to them and ask them to contact me.
If you would like to attend this event, please contact me soon as there are a limited number of places and I need to know how many people to expect. I look forward to hearing from you soon.
Benefits of attending Reiki Shares
For those new to Reiki, attending the share can be a good way of getting an introduction to Reiki and the group support that you can benefit from.
For students of Reiki, the shares provide a wonderful opportunity to reconnect or to deepen our connection with Reiki. We exchange Reiki treatments which enables everyone to give and receive a Reiki treatment in a very supportive environment. There is also the opportunity to ask questions, share Reiki experiences with others and to meet other like minded people.
Here is what Rosana, one of my Reiki students, said after attending her first Reiki share. She seems to have captured the essence of attending Reiki shares very beautifully with her words:
“Thanks for the share on Friday, I really enjoyed it, I felt like something changed inside me. It made me more sure about wanting to do reiki everyday.”
