Yoga in the park – London, Highbury Fields

Gentle, relaxing, slow moving Yoga session in Highbury Fields on Tuesday mornings 10:30 am – very grounding. Recommended especially for people who may not be used to doing Yoga but would like to benefit from it.

I am a Restorative Yoga teacher. This Yoga session is based on the Restorative Yoga Principle of being comfortable in a Yoga pose so that one can stay in the pose for deeper relaxation and release of stress and tension.

Date & Time: Tuesday mornings Aug & Sep 2017; 10:30 am to 11:30 am – weather permitting!

Location: the fenced area of Highbury Fields, at the corner of Baalbec Road and Highbury Place, opposite the Highbury Baptist Church, N5 1QL. If you stand with your back to the church, you will be able to see us in the fields on your Right.

Cost: First session is free. Subsequent sessions – pay what you can. Suggested amount £5 – £10.
I would like this to be an inclusive event for everyone.

Please dress warm. Bring a yoga mat, or a mat to lie on as we will be doing a lot of lying down – especially if you are not comfortable lying on the wet grass. A picnic mat works quite well.

Please have breakfast about 2 hours earlier – it is easier to practice Yoga when the tummy is not too full.

Do contact me if you would like to join us. Please send me an email so that I can have your email address and keep you informed via email of any changes due to weather, and send you an email the day before to make sure it is happening.
